Do you want to contribute to Wikipedia, but don’t know how to get started? Take part in a digital meeting and we’ll help you on the way.

Wikimedia Norge offers kickstart seminars on the first Wednesday of every month (or the second, if the first is a bank holiday). Please create a Wikipedia account before attending a meeting for the first time. If you plan to edit Wikipedia in a language other than Norwegian, please familiarise yourself with that particular language version.
If you can’t make the Kickstart time slot, you can book a one-on-one Kickstart session with one of our hosts.
Other support
If you create a user account on Wikipedia and use the new home page function, you will be assigned a mentor who can help you get going. Wikipedia also has a beginner’s forum packed with useful information, where you can post questions.
Remember: Don’t be afraid of making mistakes! It’s impossible for you to break anything on Wikipedia. All edits can easily be reversed.
